One thing I just cannot stand is: bitterness. Drama. Jealousy. ....
Ok, I guess that is more than one thing-and I could go on and on with my list. But seriously, I cannot stand it.

A lot of you may remember my ex... the past that came with it...the situation.

Well, I really don't feel like explaining the whole situation here, but let me just say it was not good.

You see, I left him over a year ago. Moved on with my life. Picked up the pieces and started over. I wish he would do the same.

Take some responsibility for himself, you know? Grow up.

I have remained civil towards him-for my child...but eventually a person just gets so sick of being harassed and belittled. I received 5 phone calls this morning calling me well as texts.

He cannot even pay his child support but still expects to be a part of Olivia's life. I spend my own non-existent money just to meet him halfway so she can see him.

It makes me sick...It has to stop.

I'm not about to sit here and allow someone who is unhappy try to destroy my happiness.

-End Rant- Back to cleaning house now.
I promise I will be sure to share the after pics of my new house here soon! We are finally settled in and love it here!!

  1. Wow. What a deadbeat. Sorry. If he was willing to hold up to his end of the bargain, then I could understand meeting him half way but not if he isn't going to do anything for his daughter.

  2. I am so sorry, Emily. You are doing the right thing.

  3. I'm so sorry you're going through this. :-(

  4. So sorry you are having Drama. I hate those 3 things myself and the funny thing is, they all relate to my hubby's ex wife. She needs to get a life and move on. She left hubby, and can't get over the fact that he re-married and is successful while she is struggling and well, it goes on and on and on. I can totally relate. Stop by sometime and we can "Chat" about it. It is good that you let your ex see your baby though. Hubby's ex uses the children for her on crazy purposes. This makes them very confused.

  5. What an ass he is, and you're so right, he needs to grow the fuck up! Hang in there Momma!

  7. hi, stopping by from SITS.

This sounded very familiar....even the meeting him to see her. I used to drive an hour to take her to his house. ugh Thankfully, he dropped out of the picture and we havent had to deal with this nonsense in years.

I hope you get some peace soon!

  8. Oh Em. I'm sorry to hear he's being such a deadbeat.

But you're right. It has to stop. If he isn't man enough to take on his paternal responsibilities, then he doesn't deserve to spend time with your expense, no less.

    I wish you luck, sweetie.

  9. When life's really hitting me hard, I pull out Psalms and start praying them over my life. Things really happen then. Circumstances change. The lion roaring at my door goes away. I started doing that when I was 23. I still do it today!

  10. You are soooo right! It's time he grows up and becomes the father you daughter deserves. You're a very brave young woman!!

  11. Drama is the most ridiculous thing in the world, I'm sorry that you have to put up with that...keep that beautiful head up are so much better then that! <3 ~A~

  12. Well, is it any wonder he can't get over you when you're so awesome! I actually feel sorry for him, I guess he just doesn't know what to do with himself. Is he still in the military? Of course, nothing excuses his treating you badly or calling you names. Everyone knows that its best to try and keep things civil for the sake of the children. I hope that he'll come to his senses and remember that you don't have to let him see your daughter. Its best if she gets consistency from him and right now he's not offering her that! Best of luck with it all.

  13. I'm so sorry Emily. I know someone in a similar situation & it makes me sick. I just don't understand some people...

  14. Hey hunny! I hope things get better. (((HUGS))) PICTURES PLEASE!
